As soon as I heard of this mask, I knew I had to have it right away. First of all, the main ingredient is COFFEE, and me being the coffee fiend that I am, it instantly called my name.
Secondly, it’s a face and body mask, which is another obsession of mine and a MUST-DO at least once a week to keep my skin feeling happy and healthy!
Now, this mask was not easy to find! I went to 3 different Lush Cosmetics stores in my area and they were sold out everywhere! I managed to get a hold of a sample to try, and went home and ordered a tin online!
As soon as I got home, I opened the lid to reveal that delicious coffee smell I crave so often! While the scent of coffee is so prominent in this mask, you can also detect a small chocolatey later underneath which just softens the coffee smell and gives it a very well rounded scent.
Aside from the smell, Cup O Coffee is jam packed with an array of ingredients to help moisturize, exfoliate and hydrate your skin! Kolian deeply cleanses impurities from the pores, and ground coffee acts as a gentle scrub to buff away any dryness you might have! Coriander seed oil stimulates both your mind and your skin with its spicy fragrance, while vetivert oil restores the moisture you may have lost over time and gives your body a smooth, healthy finish.
Now, this mask doesn’t look particularly appealing in its tin. It is a thick, murky brown paste with specks of black laced throughout it. However, it’s these tiny pieces of ground coffee and caffeine powder that gives this mask it’s grainy consistency.
I felt that my skin was instintly reguvinated after using this product. It is recommended that you use it in the morning, and I didn’t read that until after I had used it before bed the first time, but I had equally amazing results after both uses. I did notice that after using it in the morning I felt more AWAKE and ready for the day, however, that could’ve been more of a psychological thing since it is a COFFEE based mask!
So my overall opinion on this mask is that it is wonderful! Definitely something I am going to work into my routine and try and use once a week! I’d love to know what you guys think of this mask! If you’ve tried it, let me know in the comments below!
Love you guys,
