So, I have just had a wonderful night in and thought I would tell you all about it. I’m staying at my parents for the weekend, and to me, my parents house is the definition of relaxation! If I ever want to get away from reality and just relax for a few days, this is where I come.
Here is what I consider to be the PERFECT most relaxing night in!
Light your favourite candle! This is a new candle I got from Chapters. I have heard such good things about this brand and I absolutely love the smell of anything vanilla so I thought it would be perfect!
Put on your favourite face mask!! This is the Boscia Luminating Black Mask I showed you guys in my previous post! It’s definitely my favourite mask to relax with!
Run a bath and throw a bath bomb in! This is the Yoga bath bomb by Lush and I have to say it felt very nice and soothing! The only downside to using this bath bomb is that it has glitter in it and when I got out of the bath I noticed I had glitter all over my body!
Add Bubbles, OBVIOUSLY!!
Put on a good audio book! To me, reading is the number one thing I need to have a nice relaxing evening but unfortunately, I am not one to read in the bath. I just haven’t had a good experience reading in the bath! The pages get wet and sticky and I am always worried about dropping the book in the bathtub! An audio book is the perfect alternative. Sitting in the bath and having a soothing voice reading to you is probably as relaxing as it gets! I am currently reading Girl Online by Zoe Sugg and it’s pretty good! I think it’s targeted to younger audiences but it’s a nice mindless read to put on while on a walk or in a bath! The app I use for my audiobooks is Audible!

After my bath, I cozied up in a chair and did some colouring! I’m finally almost done this one which I’m actually quite happy about because I feel like it’s been taking me forever to complete!
