My New Hobby

Hey guys!

It’s been a while since I’ve checked in and I PROMISE I have more posts coming your way this week, but I just wanted to fill you guys in on my newest hobby!

ITS COLOURING.

Yes… Remember when you were a child and your mom or dad would plop you on a chair and hand you some markers and a piece of paper and say, ‘ HERE DRAW!’

Very similar to that, except for ADULTS!
I have found colouring books for adults and I couldn’t be more excited. The book I got is called “Colour Me Calm” and it comes with 100 colouring templates for Meditation and Relaxation. Yesterday, it was a beautiful, sunny day and I decided to sit outside while Steve had a nap and crack it open for the first time and I have to tell you, I had so much fun! It was so relaxing and so nice to just separate myself from the world and concentrate on something so mindless! I totally lost track of time and ended up sitting there for 3 hours!  I will definitely be taking this book on the 22 hour plane ride to Australia next week. It will be a great way to kill time on the airplane! I also noticed another book called ‘Colour Me Happy’ and I think I might pick that one up as well, just for some more variety!

Now, don’t make fun of me until you try it yourself! It’s so relaxing and tons of fun.
